Obesity is the accumulation of abnormal and excessive fat in the body in a way that disrupts the health of the calories we cannot burn after burning the calories we take in with food.

In terms of health, the generally acceptable ideal fat ratio is between 18%-26% for men and 25%-31% for women. The ideal fat ratio for a muscular individual should be 6%-13% for men and 14%-20% for women.

How to calculate ideal body fat percentage?

Ideal body fat is calculated by determining proportions of length, weight, neck circumference, waist circumference and hip circumference and dividing them with each other. These rates tell us whether a person is at risk or not.
